Stay capable, stay independent

Senior
Training

Training aimed at the things that actually matter later on: balance, strength and getting off the floor.

What is senior training?

Senior training is fitness coaching designed for older adults, focused on balance, mobility, strength maintenance and fall prevention rather than performance.

Sessions are one-on-one and paced to the person. Movements are scaled, loads are conservative to begin with, and existing conditions are worked around deliberately.

The goal is independence: carrying shopping, climbing stairs, getting up unaided, and reducing the risk of the fall that changes everything. Strength training is one of the most effective interventions available for all of it.

Who it's for

Never trained before

It's genuinely never too late. Gains happen in your seventies and eighties.

Had a fall or worried about one

Balance and strength are trainable. That risk can come down.

Getting slower at everyday tasks

Stairs, shopping, gardening. All of it responds to training.

Managing a health condition

Programs are built around medical guidance, not in spite of it.

All FAQs

No. Research consistently shows strength and balance improve at any age, including in people in their eighties and nineties. The starting point just needs to be appropriate.

These are common and programs are built around them. Bring any guidance from your doctor or specialist and it'll be worked into the plan.

One-on-one or small private groups. That means the pace is yours, not the room's.

No. Everything can be programmed standing or seated to start with, and getting up and down is something the training works toward if you want it to.

Two sessions a week is a good target for most people, with simple work at home on other days.
